The Llangollen Food and Drink Festival takes place at the Royal International Pavilion in Llangollen on the 19th and 20th October 2019. It's just a leisurely drive from Penmaenuchaf Hall and promises to be an enlightening event.

You'll discover great food and drink in the impressive producers' market. There will be live cookery classes and interactive workshops. You'll be able to pick up exciting new recipes and learn about traditional Welsh dishes. This event offers great food, drink and entertainment set in the magnificent scenic surroundings of Llangollen An absolute must!

Enjoy a stay with us to include Friday 25th October and visit Barmouth in early evening to experience the stunning firework display and huge bonfire being staged on the beach. At the Talyllyn railway between 29th - 31st October join in the steam 'n' scream, if you dare, for an evening train ride and spooky trip in to Dolgoch Woods. A fun filled event - fancy dress (if you have courage), pumpkin lanterns, Halloween treats, prizes and surprises! Booking is essential, call 01654 710472 to reserve your bloodcurdling journey. Race the train

Race the train - Talyllyn Railway

Every August sees the annual race the train event. A first class, multi-terrain running race with a steamy twist. Races between 3.5 and 14 miles along the valley of the famous Talyllyn Railway. The train will be be setting the pace.

Set in a beautiful seafront location between the historic Beaumaris Castle and the Menai Straits with the picturesque Snowdonia mountain range providing a perfect backdrop.
