Every August sees the annual race the train event. A first class, multi-terrain running race with a steamy twist. Races between 3.5 and 14 miles along the valley of the famous Talyllyn Railway. The train will be be setting the pace.

Taking place in August a stunning drive from Penmaenuchaf Hall to the Isle of Anglesey will take you to the Beaumaris Food Festival. Set in a beautiful seafront location between the historic Beaumaris Castle and the Menai Straits with the picturesque Snowdonia mountain range providing a perfect backdrop.
This hugely popular event will be cram packed full with food, drink and entertainment. It promises to have over 100 exhibitors, with local, national and international food producers exhibiting.
